What an incredible week! We have just returned from our golf coaching retreat in Agadir, Morocco, and my heart is still on the fairways of Golf Du Soleil and Golf Les Dunes.
This trip was the perfect blend of intensive game improvement and pure holiday enjoyment. Over the course of the week, we took advantage of the beautiful Moroccan climate to dive deep into every aspect of the game. From sunrise putting sessions overlooking the Atlantic to navigating the undulating fairways as the sun dipped below the horizon, every moment was an opportunity to learn.
Coaching Highlights
One of the most rewarding parts of these trips is seeing the “lightbulb moments” happen in real-time. Away from the pressures of daily life, our group was able to focus entirely on their technique. We spent significant time on:
- Short Game Precision: Refining chips and putts on the pristine greens.
- On-Course Strategy: Learning how to manage a round under the unique conditions of a coastal course.
- Swing Consistency: Working through personalised drills on the range to find a repeatable, powerful movement.
More Than Just Golf
While the coaching was the focus, the camaraderie made the trip truly special. There is something unique about a group of golfers coming together in a new country. Whether we were celebrating a great round at the 19th hole or posing for group photos by the “GOLF” landmark, the spirit of the group was fantastic.
The views in Agadir are second to none. Practising with the sound of the ocean in the background and finishing rounds under a golden sunset reminded us all why we love this game so much.
